A mini-documentary I made for Filmmaking I. I directed, was cam-op, sound, editor--everything but being interviewed. I learned a lot about the importance of capturing quality audio and the dangers of overuse of filters in post!

My first time editing a scene. This is the first time I had to think about why as an editor you decide to get closer or further from a subject as the scene continues. I still try to focus on this when I watch films to see what they chose and try to figure out why.

Set Dec for Siren's Song Scene - Filmmaking II
In preparation for our assignment, we had a set demo in class with our teacher as the director and real actors. I was on the set dec team and it was such a fun creative process! And watching someone direct who actually knows what he's doing was super helpful.
Sk8er Boi Short Film - Filmmaking II
I am the producer of a short film, Sk8er Boi, a project for Filmmaking II. We filmed last week and our editor is working on it now. Before this class I barely knew what producers did so this has been a great learning opportunity!
X's and O's Short Film - Filmmaking II
I'm directing a short film for class this week! Again, I've had very little interest or knowledge in how to be a director so this was such a interesting and cool way to get out of my comfort zone. I can't wait to start shooting!
